The Arkham Horror
I own a copy of this game and I have read the rules. However, I have never gotten a chance to play it.
How many people would be interested in giving it a try on the evening of September 28th?
The game is supposed to work with 1 to 8 players but 3 to 5 is recommended.

On thursday night? OH yeah that should be alot of fun. If I can make it I would be glad to play. It is alot of fun, I've played it once and its a good group sort of game. THere is room for some friendly rivaly between players but the fact that it is meant to be completed together makes for a friendly game all around and makes it kinder or new players.

I'll be at Game Headquarters by about 6:30 PM. Since I have to get up the following morning I can play no later than 11:00 PM. I am glad that someone has at least played the game before. I have read the rules and started a solitare game but that's about it.

The game on September 28th went pretty good considering it was everyone's first try at the game. Since that time I have read up on the parts we had a hard time with and I am now confident that a second game would go much smoother.
With that in mind I intend to be at Game Headquarters again next Thursday, October 5th.
Hopefully we can get another game of Arkham Horror going which I am confident run much more quickly.

I got my roleplaying group to knockoff a night of RPGs to do a 5-player a game of Arkham Horror last night. It was much more organized since I had become much better versed in the rules. With two games under my belt I am now comfortable with the rules. I definately intend to bring it back to Game Headquarters on October 5th in hopes of getting a game started.

As you may know I have been kinda busy. In fact it's been three months since you posted your request for Arkham Horror. My mom has been in poor health and it has put a real crimp in my gaming time.
However, I am hoping to make it to Thursday Night gaming this week (4/26/07). But that is about all I can say. I'd guess there is about a 50/50 chance I will be able to make it. If I do come I will be sure to bring Arkham Horror with me.

I have a copy of AH, and CotdP and Dunwich and I have been playing 1-3 times a week for almost a year now. I would love to get in an extra game (or partial game, considering how long this game can take) during the week.
I can bring my expansions if you want to try, but I am in either way. Just let me know the Thursdays you are going to be there and I will come and play.
